It’s Me!

h1 August 2nd, 2005

Yes, I’m really here.

Now that everyone and their father has a blog I figured maybe I should get off my ass and actually post something.  So, I figured I’d do something simple.  As you can see, I clearly stole the idea for this return post but what are you going to do?  At least I’m writing.

There’s this really cool site that allows you to upload a picture of your face and it will attempt to morph it to match the characteristics of people that aren’t you.  Some of them work really well.  Others, not so much.

Of the "real faces," I think the kid and East Asian look the most realistic.  I do find the woman one makes me look a whole lot like my sister Julie.  I guess that is just the proof that it is working.

Aaron's morphed faces

So, that’s all for now.  Now go try it for yourself.

  1. Baby Aaron is hilarious! Yours are way better than mine. Methinks SOMEBODY used his PS skills a little bit. You’re kinda cute Afro-Caribbean, Indian, and Asian. THe woman you is freaky looking. Good thing you aren’t female… especially with that goatee! You’re OK old, but your nose is a bit squishy!

  2. Nope, no Photoshop at all other than the putting the images together and the text.

I like me Afro-Caribbean as well. I think it’s pretty funny how much the Boticelli looks like Clinton.

  3. If the algorithm that produces all these pics is accurate, it looks like you’re going to age pretty well (and I’m sure Abby approves wholeheartedly).

Is it just me, or am I on to something here? It strikes me that with a little Photoshopping the pic of “Manga Aaron” would make a shockingly “accurate” rendition of a classic “Roswell alien”/”Grey”….

  4. I love the baby Aaron and the girl Aaron with the goatee… and hey! That was my Clinton line! The new blog design is excellent, BTW.

  5. I hope I age that well. :)

Abby said the Clinton thing first, everybody. Happy?

And thanks for the design props. There are a few things I’d like to change but it’s getting there.

  7. Just so you know, everyone’s mother is not going to be blogging. However, I like joining in the fun, so I’ll be looking for a photo of myself to morph.
